Lisa approached me early in the process with a clear vision: she wanted to present scientific facts in a way that felt engaging, approachable, and visually inviting.
My role included both the book’s visual identity and its illustrations. Together, we developed a design that balances clarity with playfulness, allowing readers to absorb complex content without feeling overwhelmed. The illustrations play a key role, helping to explain hormonal cycles, bodily processes, and other scientific concepts through simplified, playful visuals that support understanding without oversimplifying. The layout was designed to feel open and modern, with a focus on readability and flow, allowing space for reading breaks.
Lisa has self-published Go Figure! in both English and French, and the book is now available through all major online platforms. It’s been a meaningful collaboration aimed at making science and women’s health more accessible.
